The main gauge of China’s Keqiao Textile Index eased in the latest week, sliding to 95.51, its lowest point since mid-May. This latest week marks seven of the last ten weeks that the index has eroded. The measure is pulled lower by four of five components weakening from last week, including raw material, grey fabric, home textiles, and accessories. The raw material component is lower five of the last seven weeks, also falling to its lowest level since mid-May. Only apparel fabrics saw a gain from last week. After falling seven of the last nine weeks, the apparel fabrics component rebounded to 97.37, but still remains below its ten-week average.
