According to Nantong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, to further improve the foreign trade, the textile and garment exporter donot have to take label inspection since the end of March. It is estimated to save 1.75 million RMB for those companies.

The label inspection is to prevent the illgeal transferring foreign trade and fulfill the obligation of bilateral textile trade agreement. The inspection includes country of origin proof on the label, tag and package. Under such an international economy situation, the authority decided to exempt this inspection and lower down the cost for foreign trade companies, as well as save time for export. This regulation also represented the purpose of government to support textile industry and promote the export oriented economy.
